Overview
We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer I – Backend to join our team at DailyRounds in Barsar, Himachal Pradesh. As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test backend systems, including server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, readable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging, testing, and optimizing backend systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design documents, and API documentation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our backend systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a backend role
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
