Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Site Reliability team at S&P Global in Hyderabad, India. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale systems, ensuring their reliability, performance, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale systems, ensuring their reliability, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and implement automated testing, monitoring, and deployment scripts to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of software applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including system failures, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on site reliability engineering
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
