Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to lead the development of our large-scale enterprise OIDC platform. This platform supports thousands of users, hundreds of applications, and mission-critical authentication services.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the design, operation, troubleshooting, and evolution of our custom-built authorization platform
- Lead complex investigations and guide architectural decisions for the platform
- Mentor other engineers and drive the roadmap toward a modern, standards-based identity solution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the platform with other systems and applications
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for the platform
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in IAM and apply this knowledge to improve the platform
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building, operating, or extending identity platforms and authorization servers
- Deep fluency in OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWTs, claims, scopes, federation, MFA, token lifecycle management, and authentication protocols
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
