Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for the backbone of critical financial data applications. You will:

Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, large-scale backend applications using Java (8/11+), Spring Boot, and a Microservices architecture.
Build and maintain high-performance, resilient, and secure RESTful APIs to support various data analytics platforms.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and global QA teams within a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
Take full ownership of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from technical design and coding to debugging and deployment.
Write clean, optimized, testable, and maintainable code, actively participating in peer code reviews to mentor others.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform application performance tuning, and ensure the reliability of mission-critical systems.
Interface with complex relational databases (RDBMS), writing and optimizing advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

This is a senior role requiring a strong technical foundation in enterprise Java development.

Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in enterprise Java development (Java 8 or higher).
Core Tech: Expert-level knowledge of the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot.
Architecture: Proven, hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying scalable Microservices.
Skills: Strong experience with multi-threading and developing high-throughput RESTful web services.
Database: Proficiency in relational databases (like Oracle or Postgres) and strong SQL/PL-SQL programming skills.
Cloud & DevOps: Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Methodology: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (like Jenkins), version control (Git), and Agile/Scrum processes.
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
