Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with strong Global Taxation expertise to join our SAP practice at Tech Mahindra in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) with hands-on knowledge of global indirect taxation processes.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Tax Accounting
- Implement and support global taxation requirements including VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, Withholding Tax, and Reverse Charge Mechanism
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, tax teams, and cross-functional SAP consultants to optimize SAP FI tax processes
- Support configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP FI tax processes in S/4HANA and ECC environments
- Provide expertise in e-Invoicing requirements across multiple geographies
- Analyze and resolve complex tax-related issues in SAP FI
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) with hands-on knowledge of global indirect taxation processes
- Strong expertise in SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Tax Accounting
- Experience in implementing and supporting global taxation requirements including VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, Withholding Tax, and Reverse Charge Mechanism
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders, tax teams, and cross-functional SAP consultants
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex tax-related issues in SAP FI
