Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Intern to join our team at Appscrip in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As a QA Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and applications. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software products and applications
- Identify and report defects and bugs in the software, and work with the development team to resolve them
- Participate in agile development methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into every stage of the development process
- Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications, including functional, performance, and security testing
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
