Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer to design and build secure, scalable backend services for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in authentication, authorization, and identity management, as well as building reliable API integrations with communication and notification providers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, scalable backend services for enterprise applications
- Implement identity and access flows with Keycloak and Amazon Cognito
- Integrate messaging services such as Twilio, SendPulse, and SMTP
- Build the data and caching layers on PostgreSQL and Redis
- Work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product to ship features that are secure by design and stable in production
- Own backend features end to end, including designing APIs and implementing authentication and authorization
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Python backend development
- Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- Experience with Keycloak and Amazon Cognito
- Knowledge of API design and implementation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
