What You’ll Do
- Provide technical and thought leadership across the enterprise, focusing on key strategic areas that drive platform modernization
- Develop and execute comprehensive technical strategy for the Platform Engineering domain to accelerate product delivery velocity
- Lead strategy and execution of technical roadmaps that unlock new engineering capabilities and modernize legacy systems
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, customers, and enterprise stakeholders to identify and solve complex technical challenges
- Design and optimize complex system architectures, data pipelines, and high-scale distributed systems with emphasis on performance tuning
- Ensure quality, usability, and optimal performance of all platform solutions across the enterprise
What We’re Looking For
- Deep hands-on expertise in open-source database platforms and platform engineering domains
- Proven experience designing complex distributed systems, data architectures, and high-scale applications
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy and mentor senior engineering talent
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across product, engineering, and business teams
