Pragma’s applications run on complex backend systems with several external touchpoints, and our team is moving in the direction of building a highly scalable, tolerant, and a distributed system. We are using analytical data models in our backend systems to provide better insights and data to our users.
What you will do
- Priamily, build integrations with 3rd part applications to work seamlessly with our platform
- Build cutting-edge, scalable systems by writing simple and efficient code, and push your design
- Optimize APIs for any applications while creating and maintaining unit tests for new code and fixing defects
- Monitor system uptime and errors to drive us toward a high performing and reliable product
- Take ownership and understand the need for code quality, elegance, and robust infrastructure
- What you will need
- Hands-on experience with Fast API or Django and Django Rest Framework
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in design and implementation of scalable APIs with minimum 1+ years of experience in Django
- Good understanding of REST APIS
- Should be able to read docs and figure out integration with 3rd Party applications
- Comperehend use cases for the integration and also discover edge cases while doing so
- Strong hold in algorithms and problem solving
- Capable of designing, building, and testing stable modules independently and with accountability
- Database modelling and design
- Python – Django, Django Rest Framework and / or FastAPI
- SQL – PostgreSQL preferrably
