Expectations/Requirements:

Conduct Audits and Assessments:

• Assist in performing audits and assessments of IT systems,  information security controls, and network security infrastructure.
• Participate in the evaluation of IT governance, risk management, and compliance related to network security.

Control Testing and Documentation:

• Conduct testing of IT, information security, and network security controls.
• Document findings in audit workpapers with accuracy and thoroughness.

Vulnerability Identification:

• Assist in identifying vulnerabilities within network security infrastructure.
• Recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance security measures.

Collaboration and Compliance:

• Work with IT and network security teams to understand system configurations, security requirements, and compliance measures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Methodology Development:

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and frameworks specific to IT, information security, and network security.

Skills and Qualities for Success in this Role:

• Basic understanding of IT systems, information security controls, and network security principles.
• Familiarity with audit processes and methodologies is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Background:

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field.
