Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical aspects of DevOps services using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Review and enhance the security of applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
  • Create and manage automated infrastructure with Terraform scripting in Kubernetes environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, IT teams, business teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to identify and resolve application issues.
  • Monitor application performance using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Zabbix, and SQL Monitor.
  • Analyze monitoring data to proactively resolve potential performance issues.
  • Identify and address security vulnerabilities, with expertise in security scanning tools (e.g., WhiteHat, WebInspect, Pen Testing).
  • Implement problem management practices to address recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.
  • Handle incident management, prioritizing and resolving incidents in a timely manner.
  • Participate in change management processes and assess the impact of changes on applications.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for P1/P2 incidents, including coordinating war rooms during critical incidents.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage and monitor batch jobs using Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) or similar tools.
  • Adhere to company policies, including flexibility in work arrangements, reassignments, and any directives due to business changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns with excellent problem-solving skills and a design-thinking approach.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in designing, coding, and testing user stories in a sprint.
  • Experience with automating complex tasks and reducing operational burden through software engineering.
  • Proficient in CI/CD processes with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Solid understanding of security vulnerabilities and implementation of fixes, with experience in security tools like WhiteHat, WebInspect, and Pen Testing.
  • Expertise in identifying recurring issues and recommending permanent solutions through problem management practices.
