Associate Systems Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Micron’s Business Units to ensure the implementation of solutions that align with or surpass business requirements. You will be encouraged to recommend, apply, and adhere to established standards to simplify the environment and ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory norms. This role may involve travel to other Micron facilities, industry conferences, and training programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing IT operational support, particularly in managing operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, and devices such as laptops and desktops. This includes collaborating with various lab teams.
- Overseeing asset and vendor management processes.
- Resolving operational challenges, addressing escalations, and promptly supporting business needs with effective collaboration.
- Managing infrastructure needs, including computers, servers, lab equipment, and testing devices.
- Working with business and IT teams to oversee identity and access privilege management effectively.
- Identifying and implementing process enhancements while presenting clear outcomes.
- Assisting help desk and other teams in troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and delivering technical support when necessary.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and solution effectiveness.
- Participating in the on-call rotation for prompt issue resolution.
- Learning and utilizing monitoring and alerting tools to support operations.
- Attending knowledge-sharing sessions to gain expertise in new solutions.
- Developing and maintaining support documentation, including FAQs, Knowledge Articles, On-call Guides, and Run Books.
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Ansible is advantageous
