About the Role: Software Engineer, Product @ Meta

We’re looking for full-stack Software Engineers to join us in shaping the next generation of tools that empower small to medium businesses around the world. You’ll work on high-impact features, scalable systems, and cutting-edge technology that changes how the world connects.
What You’ll Do
- Build full-stack web and mobile apps using languages like Hack, JavaScript, C++, and more
- Create responsive interfaces with XHTML, CSS, React, and React Native
- Design and implement scalable backend services
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define features
- Own and deliver medium to large-scale features end-to-end
- Optimize performance and proactively improve codebases and systems
- Develop reporting tools and data feeds for better insights
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience building large-scale applications
- Proficiency in one or more of: C, C++, Java, C#, or other core languages
- Experience delivering complex features independently
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React/React Native preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Comfortable owning projects and adapting quickly to change
Bonus Points
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Hack
- Interest in scaling systems that power billions of users
Please Note:
This role requires you to stay within the same team in India for a minimum of 24 months before being eligible for a transfer.
