Overview
LILT is seeking experienced Medical Translators to join our Translator Community. As a freelance translator, you will work on various projects, including Life Sciences, Medical, and Clinical trials, translating from German into Estonian. This is a remote, freelance contractor position, offering flexible hours and competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Translate documents from German into Estonian, ensuring high-quality and accuracy.
- Work on various projects, including Life Sciences, Medical, and Clinical trials.
- Meet deadlines and deliver translations on time.
- Collaborate with other translators and reviewers to ensure consistency and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in translation and localization.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes and quality.
Requirements
- Native or fluent in Estonian (reading and writing).
- University Degree in Linguistics, Translation, or medical certification.
- Demonstrable experience in translation and localization, with a focus on medical or life sciences domains.
- Able to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours of translation tasks per week.
- Proficient in using translation tools and software, including LiltLancer Community.
