About the Role
At magicpin, cutting-edge technology powers everything we do. We tackle complex engineering challenges in areas like search & discovery, data science, and analytics at massive scale. Our tech stack includes microservices built in Go, Java, Python, deployed on Kubernetes with relational and NoSQL databases, and public cloud technologies.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll join a team of rockstar engineers to solve high-scale problems in the e-commerce space.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of scalable solutions with minimal defects.
- Write high-quality code, unit test cases, and deployment scripts.
- Learn and dive deep into modern data storage and streaming systems like BigTable, Kafka, Solr, Elastic.
- Build high throughput/low latency systems.
- Develop a solid understanding of CS fundamentals, including operating systems, databases, and data structures.
- Work closely with senior engineers to improve solutions.
- Approach problems with a hacker’s mindset and find innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field with 1+ years of work experience.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Scala, Python, C++).
- Strong problem-solving skills and solid engineering principles.
- Knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL, and application servers.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
