Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our growing data engineering team at Evnek Technologies Pvt Ltd in Immedihalli, Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, working with cloud-based data platforms, and developing scalable ETL/ELT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures
- Collaborate with senior data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Work with cloud-based data platforms to develop and implement scalable ETL/ELT solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data pipelines and systems
- Optimize data processing workflows for better performance, scalability, and reliability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our data engineering practices
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines and architectures
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong skills in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with data processing frameworks, such as Apache Beam, Spark, or Flink
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
