Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and troubleshoot software solutions with a focus on secure, high-quality coding.
- Write efficient, secure code in at least one programming language, with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate on the development and debugging of applications, considering both upstream and downstream technical implications.
- Utilize tools from the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance automation and delivery efficiency.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify issues, drive decision-making, and contribute to secure application development.
- Learn and apply processes and methodologies for stable and secure code and system development.
- Contribute to a team culture that emphasizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Formal Training/Certification: 2+ years of applied software engineering experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in React, UX tools, REST APIs, and Oracle.
- Proven ability to develop high-quality user interfaces aligned with modern web standards.
- Strong background in application development and design thinking, particularly in front-office technology.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Splunk, and familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge and application of test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience in system design, development, debugging, testing, and maintaining operational stability.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, application resiliency, and security).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
