We are a cutting-edge deep-tech startup pioneering the future of mobility with our comprehensive end-to-end EV Stack. As we rapidly scale, we’re seeking a driven Backend Developer Intern to join our tech team and help build scalable, cloud-native backend systems for next-gen EV applications.
Role Summary
As a Backend Developer Intern, you will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and deploying APIs and services that power our core platforms. You’ll work with a modern technology stack and gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, database systems, and production-grade backend development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop RESTful and asynchronous APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask)
- Integrate and manage data with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Deploy services using CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments on GCP
- Work with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, VPC, VM Instances, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams to build robust, scalable systems
- Troubleshoot and debug backend services in various environments
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI or Flask
- Solid understanding of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub
- Exposure to GCP tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, VPC, VM Instances, and Kubernetes
- Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Plus: Knowledge of Docker
