About the Role:
Elucidata is looking to hire a Frontend Engineering Intern to support our engineering & marketing teams in building user-facing applications that power data workflows in biomedical research. As an intern, you’ll get hands-on experience in developing responsive and scalable web interfaces, integrating APIs, and working with data-intensive applications. We’re seeking driven individuals who are passionate about frontend technologies and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and product managers to build and maintain features that have real-world impact for scientists and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain frontend components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build responsive, intuitive UI/UX
- Integrate APIs and work with data-intensive interfaces
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot UI bugs
- Support the creation and management of marketing-related web pages (CMS like WordPress is a plus)
- Work with no-code tools such as Zapier to automate key marketing and engineering workflows
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Microsoft Clarity to analyze user behavior
- Maintain clear documentation for UI components and automation processes
Qualifications:
- Solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Understanding of APIs and how to interact with them
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Interest in both frontend development and marketing automation
- Exposure to or interest in no-code tools (Zapier, Make)
- Bonus: Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue
- Understanding of CMS platforms like WordPress
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to take ownership of tasks
