Overview
We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone. We’re waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking. After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK.
As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more emerging.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct regular data protection audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Provide training and guidance to employees on data protection best practices
- Monitor and respond to data protection incidents and breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection is integrated into product development and operations
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and regulatory changes in data protection
Requirements
- Proven experience in data protection, preferably in a financial services or technology company
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR and UK data protection laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
