Overview
The LaunchDarkly legal team is expanding to support our rapidly growing company. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to join our team, reporting to the VP Legal, Commercial. As a Commercial Counsel, you will leverage your contract negotiation and drafting skills to collaborate cross-functionally with other teams at LaunchDarkly, working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales organization by drafting, negotiating, and closing commercial transactions for the purchase of LaunchDarkly’s SaaS products
- Manage a variety of vendor, channel, and partnership contracts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams at LaunchDarkly, including Sales, Marketing, and Product
- Develop and implement contract management processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Provide excellent customer service and partnership with the business, ensuring a culture of collective success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve contract negotiation and drafting skills
Requirements
- Experience in contract negotiation and drafting, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
- Strong understanding of commercial law and contract management principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent, with admission to practice law in the US
