Position: QA Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritize testing activities.
- Coordinate with the Design team to discuss verification protocols.
- Identify weaknesses and problem areas within software applications.
- Suggest automated software testing procedures, including the use of the Karate framework and Gherkin language.
- Track and investigate the causes of software bugs.
- Prepare automation scripts using the Karate framework.
- Troubleshoot automation software issues.
- Create test plans and cases using Gherkin syntax for readability and ease of use.
- Prepare detailed test reports.
- Prioritize and execute tests.
- Review technical specifications and design documents.
- Conduct regression testing when necessary.
- Monitor assurance metrics and process results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience working as a QA Automation Engineer.
- Advanced programming skills, including experience with automation systems and databases.
- Familiarity with programming script languages, such as Java.
- Experience with the Karate framework and Gherkin language is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
