What You’ll Do

Team Description
This team drives next-gen software innovations in cloud, mobile, desktop, or security spaces. You’ll build applications that make technology accessible on various devices, imagining, designing, and creating solutions that transform how we work, live, learn, and play.

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for enhancements and new products.
• Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, covering operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
• Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design.

Software Engineer – Networking Protocols

• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and software engineering, with an aptitude for new technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, routing, and switching.
• Basic knowledge of routers, switches, network debugging tools, and techniques.
• Familiarity with security technologies like Firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, IPsec, and TLS. Knowledge of data security and threat vectors is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, particularly Python, with an emphasis on optimization and performance.
• Strong testing orientation to ensure comprehensive program validation.
• Creative problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
• Experience in maintaining strong relationships with the extended team.

Software Engineer – Application Software

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, software engineering, and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, routing, and switching.
• Strong programming and scripting skills, especially in Python.
• Solid grasp of object-oriented design and programming.
• Capability to scale applications for the cloud.
• Strong inclination towards testing for comprehensive use-case coverage.
• Exposure to open-source and mobile application development is a plus.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and more than one development environment.
• Interest in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design.
• Creative problem-solving and strong troubleshooting/debugging skills.

Software Engineer – Embedded and Systems Development

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with a knack for learning new technologies.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as Python, and exposure to kernel, user space, and system space programming.
• Solid knowledge of operating systems, with exposure to device drivers and BSPs being a plus.
• Familiarity with system-level debugging techniques and tools.
• Emphasis on system programming, with strong programming skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.

Who You Are

• A recent graduate or in your final year of a bachelor’s or master’s program, targeting 2024 graduates.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, with a passion for technology.
• Skilled in programming and scripting, with creative problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in building strong relationships with extended teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
