About the Role:
As an HR Product Developer at Barclays, you’ll design customized data and MI solutions that empower our clients to leverage HR metrics to shape the future. Using cutting-edge technology, you’ll enhance our products and streamline processes, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform complex HR data into actionable insights across various HR systems.
  • Apply automation techniques for efficient data extraction, transformation, and output (ETL).
  • Quickly interpret problem statements, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Provide insights across diverse HR functions, enhancing data accuracy and utility.

Preferred Skills:

  • Communicate technical insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively across various business areas.
  • Team-oriented, taking ownership of solutions while supporting colleagues.
  • Proactively learn new technologies, fostering cross-training and skill development.

Desirable Skills:

  • Advanced Excel, data automation (Power Query, VBA, macros).
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, SQL, and relational data structures.
  • Experience with reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exposure to Qlik Sense, Workday, and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).

Role Purpose:
To convert raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across Barclays.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Deliver Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including data modeling, data warehousing, and analytics.
  • Execute data extraction, cleansing, and maintenance from various internal and external sources.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to showcase key business KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Provide customized data analysis solutions, addressing specific business questions.
  • Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions aligned with bank objectives and compliance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation across Technology reporting and metrics.

  • Provide expertise and consult on complex issues for People Leaders.
  • Mitigate risk, develop policies, and reinforce governance and controls.
  • Collaborate on multi-functional projects, contributing to organizational objectives.
