Our Early Career Traineeship is tailored for fresh graduates. This 12-month program provides technical and soft skills training, on-the-job learning, and valuable exposure to real-world challenges. As a trainee, you’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects within a dynamic team.
Your Key Responsibilities
As part of the Early Career Traineeship, you’ll:
- Implement cybersecurity guidelines for applications hosted in Baker Hughes’ cloud infrastructure.
- Assist deployment teams in implementing cybersecurity measures for applications hosted in customer cloud environments.
- Define frameworks, tools, and processes for application security in consultation with the Product Architecture and Baker IT Security teams.
- Collaborate with architects and researchers to identify, assess, and manage product vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Lead incident response processes and create actionable metrics to mitigate product cyber risks.
- Conduct vulnerability monitoring and assessments for infrastructure and applications.
- Develop hardened, VAPT-tested system templates, images, and containers.
- Drive certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC, addressing related issues and ensuring compliance.
- Plan and execute audits, implementing best practices based on feedback.
- Interface with application architects, security engineers, and infrastructure architects to align implementations with customer success objectives.
- Provide 24/7 support in coordination with a team of employees and vendors.
Fuel Your Passion
To succeed in this traineeship, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell, and databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling challenging technical problems.
- The ability to analyze technical risks and prioritize solutions effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Graduation within the past 24 months with a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of application without sponsorship or time restrictions.
