Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer (Node.js & TypeScript) | SDE-1 to join our team in Mumbai. As an emerging general insurance business in India, we are looking for a talented individual to help us build scalable systems from the ground up. Our company is AI-led, fast, and transparent, and we are looking for someone who thrives on building world-class insurance tech solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop world-class insurance tech solutions from the ground up.
- Own features end-to-end – from API design to deployment, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Play a key role in shaping technical decisions, architecture, and best practices.
- Iterate quickly based on user feedback, and continuously improve our systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in a product-based startup or product company.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with designing and developing scalable systems and architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Graduate from a premier engineering institute (IITs, NITs, BITS, IIITs, DTU, NSUT, etc.) is preferred.
