Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer – Backend to join our team at GoKwik, Bengaluru. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain our backend systems, including APIs, databases, and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high system uptime and performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our systems
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++
- Experience with backend frameworks, such as Spring, Django, or Flask
- Knowledge of database management systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
