Role Overview
The IND Analyst I Wealth – PA – Technology is responsible for supporting and testing Aon’s proprietary Pension Administration System to meet client requirements. This includes configuring the system using proprietary tools to set up and load tables/parameters as per defined analysis/mapping.
This position is ideal for candidates with strong programming logic, systems configuration, and testing skills related to pension administration functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand Pension Domain, SQL, or VBA effectively.
- Review client requirements, adhere to due dates, and prioritize delivery.
- Ask clarifying questions and utilize handoff time effectively.
- Configure systems to meet high-complexity analysis specifications.
- Execute unit test plans and document results.
- Assist with analysis and test planning for low- and medium-complexity tasks.
- Apply knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices.
- Identify and execute test cases and run release regressions.
- Troubleshoot basic system defects and errors.
- Utilize problem-solving resources and escalate issues when needed.
- Begin developing skills to advance to the next role.
- Complete tasks accurately within deadlines and with minimal oversight.
Role Specifications
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is preferred.
Experience
- 0-1 year of experience in Pensions/Benefits.
Domain and Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys).
- Intermediate proficiency in writing SQL queries or VBA code.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot system defects and interpret client requirements for analysis or testing.

Work Timings and Location

Selection Procedure
- Screening by HR followed by two rounds of interviews.
Eligibility
- 1-3 years of experience in Pension Domain, SQL, or VBA.
- Minimum 12 months in an Analyst I or similar role at Aon.
