Overview
Airbnb is seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to join its Quality Platform team, working remotely from Brazil. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building infrastructure that prevents bugs and empowers thousands of engineers to ship with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality releases
- Work with the team to build and maintain the mobile infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve the team’s workflow and product
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Android software development
- Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and experience with Android SDK
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with remote teams
