Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer – Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our team at Databricks. As an AI FDE, you will be part of a highly specialized customer-facing AI team that delivers professional services engagements to help customers build and productionize first-of-its-kind AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional services engagements to help customers build and productionize AI applications
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and developer relations teams to shape long-term strategic priorities and initiatives
- Support internal subject matter expert (SME) teams and collaborate with teammates to improve the overall strength of the team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in GenAI, LLMOps, and ML to fuel curiosity and drive innovation
- Collaborate with customers, teammates, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and implement AI solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations
Requirements
- Experience in AI, ML, or related field, with a strong background in software development and engineering
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with AI and ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and teammates
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
