Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer – Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our team at Databricks. As an AI FDE, you will be part of a highly specialized customer-facing AI team that delivers professional services engagements to help our customers build and productionize first-of-its-kind AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional services engagements to help customers build and productionize AI applications
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and developer relations teams to shape long-term strategic priorities and initiatives
- Support internal subject matter expert (SME) teams and collaborate with teammates to fuel curiosity for the latest trends in GenAI, LLMOps, and ML
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, ML, and related technologies
- Contribute to the growth and development of the AI FDE team
Requirements
- Strong experience in AI, ML, or related field
- Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of AI and ML concepts, including deep learning and natural language processing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
