Position Details
- Title: Trainee – Data Science
- Location: Hyderabad
- Department: Development / Engineering
- Employment Type: Trainee
- Experience: 0 to 2 years
- Qualification: Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields
- Shift: Starting from 11 AM (flexibility as per business requirements is expected)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets
- Support the development and testing of machine learning models and data algorithms
- Create insightful visualizations and perform basic statistical analysis
- Write clean and maintainable Python code for various data-related tasks
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
- Document code, findings, and workflows for internal reference and collaboration
Key Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Python and essential libraries: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib
- Strong grasp of basic statistics and machine learning fundamentals
- Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation techniques
- Exposure to BI tools like Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
- Effective communication and team collaboration abilities
Nice to Have
- Certifications or online courses in Data Science and Machine Learning
- Project experience or internship in data-driven roles (preferred but not mandatory)
