Overview
We are seeking an experienced Abinitio Developer to join our team at Cognizant in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 6-12 years of experience in Abinitio development and a strong background in SQL, UNIX, and scheduling knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Develop Abinitio graphs using standard environment parameters, GD(PDL,MFS Concepts)E, EME basics, and SDLC
- Work with databases such as Oracle, DB2, and Teradata, and utilize DB Load/Unload Utilities
- Utilize UNIX shell scripting and utilities like sed, awk, perl, and python
- Schedule jobs using Control M, Autosys, Maestro, TWS, or ESP
- Produce LLD, work with testers, and collaborate with PMO to develop graphs and schedules
- Provide 3rd level support and work with multiple source systems and targets
Requirements
- Hands-on development experience with Ab Initio components such as Rollup Scan, join Partition, by key Partition, by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave Lookup, etc.
- Experience in finance and capital markets products
- Strong background in SQL, UNIX, and scheduling knowledge
- Ability to work with multiple source systems and targets
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
