Job Description
Purpose
The US Custom Development and Implementation team is seeking a motivated and resourceful Software Developer to join the CDH implementation team for US business units. The primary focus includes designing and developing database/data warehouse structures, writing stored procedures, views, and Python coding.
Responsibilities
- Adapt to a fast-paced development environment.
- Review requirement documents, understand business rules, and implement them in the database.
- Collaborate with BAs to clarify business requirements and raise questions as needed.
- Maintain coding standards and document unit testing results for handover to the testing team.
- Work closely with the testing team on SIT and support through completion.
- Focus on UAT in coordination with multiple vendors.
- Participate in calls during EST morning hours with PMs and BAs.
- Communicate effectively, report issues, and escalate technical/functional challenges promptly.
- Establish and maintain effective project/stakeholder communication.
- Identify and anticipate delivery delays or errors and keep stakeholders informed of progress and actions.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements and quality standards.
- Analyze documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise solutions to enhance service quality and prevent recurrence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Share daily/weekly reports with the team and stakeholders.
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E, B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc) or Diploma holder or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong skills in SQL/PLSQL, Python, and data warehouse concepts.
- Good understanding of AWS concepts, tools, and technologies.

Additional Skills (Good to Have)
- Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, ADF.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Office 365, especially Excel (including Macros, Pivots, Worksheets, and add-ins).
