About Internship
We’re looking for a motivated Backend Intern to join our team and gain hand-on experience in developing complex backend system from scratch. The ideal candidate should be proficient in NodeJS and Express, have a good understanding of databases, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment.
As a member of the engineering team, you’ll work closely with our founders and Mobile/Frontend/Design folks to help us build incredible experiences for our users.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Should have built some personal projects with NodeJS and Express, or have relevant work experience
- Good understanding of databases and Git version control
- Ability to work independently
Bonus:
- Familiarity with dependency injection
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha etc.
This is a full-time internship position with a duration of 3 months, which can be further renewed or converted into a full-time role subject to performance. This candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of developers and gain hands-on experience in developing real-world applications being used in production.
