AI Ops builds the systems that keep that organization moving, helping teams move quickly without losing shared context. In this role, you’ll own Mercury’s internal knowledge infrastructure: the systems and standards that make company information accurate, discoverable, and useful.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a trusted context layer—a structured, living record of what teams own, do, and need to know
- Develop and implement standards for company information, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and discoverability
- Design and build systems to integrate with existing tools and workflows, enhancing the overall employee experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize knowledge gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to support the adoption of new systems and standards
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of knowledge infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as knowledge management, information architecture, or technical writing
- Strong understanding of knowledge management principles, information architecture, and content strategy
- Experience with design and implementation of taxonomies, ontologies, and metadata standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize knowledge gaps and opportunities for improvement
