Overview
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Engineer based in India to contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-based data solutions within a modern data engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to enable reliable data flow across multiple systems and business domains
- Work on hands-on development using various data engineering tools and technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements
- Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehousing and data lakes
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering
Requirements
- Experience in data engineering, preferably in a cloud-based environment
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Knowledge of data processing frameworks like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
