Overview
Mercury is building a banking platform that requires architectural coherence across every engineering, product, design, and data team. As Head of Technical Program Management, Banking, you will be the master builder, holding the entire program in your head, sequencing work, and ensuring it all stands up.
Responsibilities
- Act as the control center for all banking workstreams, including core banking build, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Guide cross-functional teams to ensure coherence and alignment with our banking charter goals
- Develop and execute program plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements and dependencies
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels across teams, ensuring transparency and visibility into program progress
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of our technical program management processes and practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across teams
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or similar
