About the Role
As a Software Developer/Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of building and maintaining the platform that utilities rely on to visualize critical operational, reliability, risk, and environmental data. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact grid reliability, wildfire prevention, and clean energy distribution across the nation.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain the core software platform that provides utility customers with visualization tools for operational and environmental data
- Design and implement features that help utilities optimize power distribution and prevent wildfires
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate drone-generated sensor data with the online secure API
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure platform reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a rapidly evolving startup environment
- Contribute to rapid prototyping and product iteration cycles
What We’re Looking For
- Active DoD SkillBridge eligibility or current military service member eligible to participate
- Proficiency in software development with experience building web or cloud-based applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in team settings
- Experience with APIs, databases, and data visualization preferred
- Commitment to learning and adapting in a fast-paced startup environment
