The Role: Junior Front-End Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing
- Build Intuitive Interfaces: Create stunning, responsive UIs using React.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Develop for Performance: Optimise web applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility.
- Ship Features End-to-End: Own front-end feature development, from brainstorming to deployment.
- Innovate: Contribute ideas to improve the usability and aesthetics of our platform, staying ahead of UI/UX trends.
Required Skills
- TypeScript Proficiency: At least 1 year of working with TypeScript is essential.
- React.js Experience: 2+ years of experience building UIs with React. Self-taught, personal projects, or freelancing counts!
- Strong CSS/HTML Skills: A deep understanding of responsive design, CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Problem Solving & Learning Mindset: Comfortable troubleshooting, debugging, and trying new tools and frameworks.
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for design, ensuring every pixel and interaction is just right.
- Effective Communication: Able to collaborate with team members and clearly articulate your ideas.
Bonus Points For
- Advanced Animations: Experience with tools like Framer Motion or GSAP to create interactive, delightful experiences.
- Design Tools Familiarity: Knowledge of Figma or Sketch and a strong design sensibility.
